Missions and Services

Seneca United Methodist Church supports many missions, missionaries and community services.

Lydia's Circle Blanket Ministry

Blankets are made with love and prayers on Tuesdays starting at 9:30 am until they are done.  You may request a blanket for a friend or loved one that needs surrounded in love and prayers.  The ladies and the church pray over the blankets before they are delivered to the one it was requested for.  Please complete a request form if you know someone going through a tough time.

Cranberry Food Pantry

We are located at 224 South Main Street in the “Fishers For Him” building (originally the Cranberry High School) and have been serving the Cranberry Area School District Community since April 2008.

Our sponsors include area Churches, Civic and Social Organizations, Boy Scouts, School Employees, and Students, Lions Club, Sportsmen’s Clubs, as well as individual donations and memorials. We are an all-volunteer organization consisting of 40 – 50 volunteers.

Our merchandise is either purchased through Second Harvest Food Bank, Walmart, Rite-Aid or donated by individuals and Walmart.  All donations are appreciated and can be brought to the Cranberry Area Food Pantry (CAFP) or mailed to CAFP, PO Box 446, Seneca, PA 16346.

There are no income guidelines to receive this free food.  The only requirement is that you live in Cranberry Area School District and you can provide a valid proof of address.  Everyone within these parameters is welcome to receive free food for you and your family the 2nd and 4th Mondays of each month from 2:00 – 5:30 p.m.
