Al-Anon Family Groups
"Al-Anon is a self-help, mutual support program for family members and friends of someone who has a drinking problem. It is based upon the 12 Steps of Alcoholic Anonymous and has been successful in helping people for more than 60 years."
The Fresh Start Al-Anon Family Groups (AFG) meets every Tuesday at the SUM Church from 7:00 to 8:30 PM. Based upon the principle of anonymity, members of AFG introduce themselves by first names only and ask that any “personal sharing” be held in confidence.
A basket is passed and funds are used to make a donation to the Church, to purchase literature, to meet group expenses and to support public outreach throughout the world. Anyone is welcome to attend.
